5vzfe Tacoma is right at 280k miles with a new fuel filter, clean MAF and throttle body (didn’t remove/clean IAC), new spark plugs/wires and coil packs - all the correct parts. All within the last 8k miles.

I went on a trip and the truck sat for a week, when I got back I drove it normally for a day and a half and it began throwing a code P0303 misfire on cylinder 3 (the one with a helicoil) right after I ordered a timing belt/water pump kit. Assuming coil packs and plugs are good I ordered injectors and valve cover gaskets too as it has been on my to-do list anyways. Tried seafoam and it didn’t help.

Will I be okay to drive the truck another 1k miles until I get the parts and get it into a shop for injectors/valve cover gaskets/timing belt and water pump? Or will this misfire cause further issues? I drive it on the freeway for work about 100 miles a day and don’t have a backup vehicle. I can feel it stumbling when accelerating and the CEL stays on and almost constantly flashes on the freeway.

Will be testing spark plug and swapping cylinder 1 and 3 coil packs to see if anything changes. Also plan on rerouting wires according to FSM diagram.

edit: just gonna send it :hattip:
