I recently did some maintenance on my truck after letting it sit for a few months and after taking it to get aligned I noticed my radiator has a hole in it. When I drove it to the alignment shop nothing was out of the ordinary but when I went to pick it up there was a pool of fluid on the ground and a big hole in my radiator. Also the car didn’t want to start. When I turned the ignition key it would turn over but the engine would run at such low rpm that it would die. I had to rev it to keep it going. I live very close to the alignment shop so I figured I might be able to drive home and diagnose the problems but I had to pull over immediately as the engine started to overheat and the check engine light came on. After I had it towed home I checked the codes and found that I had a cylinder 2 and 3 misfire. I checked the spark plugs but nothing appeared out of the ordinary with them. I’m going to replace my radiator today and refill the coolant but any ideas of what could’ve caused the misfire? I’m out of ideas and I’m looking for a place to start.

    Coolant leak, hot engine.......Never good.
I'd be inspecting the plugs and doing a compression test.
Or coolant system pressure test, either one. (but you'd have to replace the radiator first)
