On the bright side I'm missing the worst part of the year on my truck, keeping the salt away from everything that isn't getting replaced. And it gives me more time to save for dirty 5's.

These are the truck's I've been driving in the mean time:

WTF photobuckets not letting some pics show up.

Also got one slider stripped yesterday.

Shows the bubbling of the paint:

15 seconds of scraping or so:

Stripper helped a ton. Took 1.5 hours for one slider when the last time I did this it took 4.5 hours.

    Look at build!
Wish this thing would be ready for gulches! Either way, glad you're still going to make it down!

You and me both dude! If it was going to be ready soon I could probably bust ass to get it back together again but would hate to rush it as well. Want to really take my time and re-do a bunch of the wiring that leads to the tool box and what not.

Ha yeah that's what I'm trying to avoid. Rather do it once and right since I'm pretty much starting over again.

Fuck dude long time no see!

Welp no truck means slow build unfortunately. I have been working on things in preparation for getting the truck back.

    Garage update:

Big thanks to my SS @Joe D for my retractable extension on the one side of my garage. Can never have too many outlets! And considering I only have one ground level, and 2 ceiling outlets in it I need these bad.

    98322B86-936E-4356-8C26-F3D5DDD00290_8e73063c761e665a773d651d0879dadd87aa5147.jpg

    Also been painting my sliders:

    85452826-0C4B-4B22-82C8-F6E6716682B6_f434da6b33f105ecd741bb3603137d4c94ff039d.jpg

Got a coat on each side with with gloss black, going to finish it with VHT chassis black to make sure I didn't miss anything brushing on.

Next up was redoing my bed/tool box electrical. Another thing @Joe D hooked me up with is a blue sea. Setting that up in the tool box to control the tool box light, bed lights, and rear lights. Want all of it to be available to be turned on without needing a key in the ignition so always hot. Going to put a 50 amp breaker on the main hot going to the blue sea as well as a big quick disconnect in case I ever need to take the bed or tool box off. The whole frame replacement thing has me putting disconnects everywhere now.

    342FDBDA-4083-48C9-A428-E056D6DF0C99_6b20a1e9d157eb06102cf3349f884738db99023e.jpg

Next was tool box lighting. I couldn't decide if I wanted this way:

    B8B738CF-FF05-4E46-8507-39C91E129352_ea535281958c0d636fb13e9a499b4c060b3b13dc.jpg

Which would project light into the box but also into the bed and I also would feel fuck up my night vision.

    Decided on this way:

    67A95EB2-D427-4573-A1F3-1595E5BDF7E9_c3d03efb2ce167f17f1c877a57979036ddd3d112.jpg

Want to put another strip of lights to fill the shadow as well. Should get the job done nicely.

Looks good brother...glad you are getting to put some of it to use.

I may have missed it but, what happened or what do you have going on with your truck?

It's at Toyota getting a frame swap eventually. Waiting on the frame/parts now. Missing it hard these days. :(
