You and me both! Focus is back on getting some camping/wheeling in while still doing Moab prep. Just ordered 2 Jerry's last week, once I get them I can start fabricating their mounts. Also in desperate need of a steering rack, going OEM, can't decide if I should wait till after NTC Takeover so I don't beat on a brand new rack super hard before Moab. I also really gotta make my Box Rocket style snorkel soon, the exposed air tube is no bueno. After that priority will go to Dakars, and some nitrochargers for now to get me through the trip, and then maybe save fore a fridge/trip money. Def need some camping soon, jonesing really bad.

You don't think you'll even be able to fly out? I've been seeing it shared on my feed between you, steve and Jay in the past 2 years and it's getting me stoked! Not to mention Chux's current cross country trip.

Not sure about that. I'd like to but we are doing Disney in December and that mouse likes to eat money. :(

Added a backup to my CO2 OBA. Needed to get some adapters to make it work but it was better than needing to buy ARB's air up kit. Now I can use anything that's 1/4" NPT including my existing hose for my CO2.

Taking full advantage of 4WD to hit some farm land and get my shooting on with @V5ioV this weekend.

It was my first time shooting clay and holy shit it was a blast.

My buddy also had this gun from 1921 that he restored:

I couldn't hit two clays on one throw with it because the double trigger tripped me up but was nailing them consistently with the pump actions.

Took the wife and pup down to Assateague Island to meet some friends. Trucks been running great *knocks on wood* and the gears were awesome. 6 hours of driving and gas mileage is back to what I was at with 32's and stock gears I think, or damn close. Got to see some wild horses and Macaroni went into the Bay for her first swim.

Gears my friend, gears. I was getting this on 32's on stock gears. Though that's pretty bad for a 4 banger. 4 bangers need turbo and gears.

x2. May not get around as fast now, but I'm not putting the pedal to the floor to get around either.

As fast as you mean reduced top speed? Def only taken it to around 85 so far and the engine was screaming. But 80 felt fine for sure. I'll see what higher feels like on the PA TP this weekend. Downside is highway cruising at even 80, I feel like I see the gas needle drop like you guys lol sweet spot is easily the 55 mph area for mpg's.

Yep, reduced top speed. I drive around 65mph everywhere. Even 80 is a bit fast in my opinion. I've pushed it up to 90 before, too high in the RPMs for my liking and feels like a wheel may go flying into the neighboring zip code.

Lol I tried 90 this weekend and it had my RPM's at 4k!

Def good with sticking to 85 max.

Also took it to Rausch this weekend. Holy shit the gears are amazing. Crawled through everything I threw at it and the only time I got stuck was a ledge that risked destroying my slip yoke. Grinded a bunch on the pinion flange and ripped that zerk off. Also one of my light mounts busted. Time for a Bamf mount and LED's anyway.
