Ha yeah I hear that. Though from the couple people I read that did it, it didn't seem bad. Ideally I'll rip mine out when I install a manual BPV. But in the dash is not a bad idea if the dash isn't hard to rip apart on that side. I've only gone as far as pulling the glove box lol on the bright side it will be kept away from outside debris in there. Which do you have? CKMA-12 or the dual?

The same one as you, CKMA-12 for lockers. Got one with my HP zip locker.

Figured I didn't need more since the OBA and Co2.

Ah word, if it's the same one as me, it's the CKSA-12, their smallest one. THe CKMA-12 is bigger and can actually fill 35's. I really gotta get that regulator you got on your tank though. The ability to adjust to 150 psi would be awesome.

Also did a little work to prep for the diff install. I took my one CV with a torn boot and started pulling it apart to put the new boot on and do the boot slide mod. Well the one of the tulips decided to explode and throw needle bearings everywhere when I touched it so I used the tulip from the CV I cut when I broke my diff. Starting to hoard C-clips and parts now lol.

Definitely cut my CV build time down, but God is it a fucking messy process. I still have enough parts to build one more good CV for a spare, but I'll deal with that another day.

Also got my NE TW shirt in from @ERMB and it looks great! Stoked to wear this when I go to Moab.

My mistake, meant to type CKSA-12 (its the smallest, fit in the palm of your hand). Adjustable regulator is nice, 120psi and my IR impact gun works wonders.

15lb same width as 10lb but slightly taller.

Good to know! Maybe I will upgrade to a 15LB one day so i don't have to change my mount.

How do you like those ST Maxx tires? I'm thinking about them in 255/85/16 after my current set, and the half worn down set I have in the garage wear out. Your truck is making me like the 315s though....

I love mine in the 255s! Only been in one instance where I wish I had wide tires to float on top of the snow instead of cutting through. Only place I haven't really had them is mud. Everything else they did great on.

x2. I like them. I like how they look size wise(tall) and i like how easy they fit(very little trimming).

I do personally like fatter tires though for offroad.

but for a DD/weekend warrior. Great tire size.

Are you running your lockers off your main CO2 bottle? Why not get the mini regulator from Ox and do paint ball canisters? a 16oz bottle is like..1500+ Locker articulations. I carry two bottles plus two smaller 6oz(i think?) hot shots in case i run out.

Sadly not much 4WD experience yet, only on road and 2WD. I love how much more quiet they are than my M/T's, though it's not a DD anymore and that doesn't matter as much. I've aired the rears down to 10 psi in sand and they barely bulged but that is more a weight issue than anything. I got around in super soft sand with some skill and momentum in 2wd.

No the locker is being run off the mini compressor, CO2 is only for airing up the tires and air tools. Speaking of which, got that wired up last night, still gotta get the dash back together.

Prepped for my diff install day by getting the compressor wired up and tested, wiring up the switches, and testing everything all out. The center console section is a fucking bitch to take out and put back now with all the crap I have going on, but I am so happy with the way it looks and how it came out.

Don't really get snow where I live, so I'm not too worried about that.

The thought of 315's has been running around in my head though, so who knows what I'll get once I'm done with college. As of right now, I have enough tires to last me until then.

So yesterday was a busy fucking day.

The goal was to get both front and rear diffs installed, while also installing the new gusseted spindles. What I didn't expect was @HomerTaco coming by and hooking me up with a grill for my birthday! So stoked to get a famous Toywerx grill from the man himself. Also a huge thank you to @Sub-Zero and @MY50cal for the help today. I seriously couldn't have done it without you guys. Honestly most of it is buttoned up, everything in the rear is all torqued, just need to fill the diff. Up front I gotta torque all the suspension components, run the air line, and fill the diff. Not many pics cause we were going ham. Also getting that front diff out originally was a bitch.

I am on one side. That other side rusted off at some point. Gotta get new ones when I get dakars.
