D ring option

    does anyone know what this option is for and what it adds? My second gen has two d rings by the tailgate in the bed but I thought they came standard. Help please

    It seems Toyota has changed many "standard" accessories to be optional. I'm ordering my truck with them.

    Is that what the d ring option is? I use them all the time in my 2nd gen

    Our '16 came with them without being added on the invoice. Wonder if this has been the same for others.

    As far as I've been able to find out, it's the two installed in the rear of the bed by the tailgate. They are too useful to not purchase IMHO.

    Yea I definitely need to find out. As cheap of an option as it is I wouldn't think it was the ones that are drilled through and attached. But they're way too useful. Maybe some others can chime in

    You can buy extra. The ones by the tailgate will come on it regardless
