    I got my D-rings a while ago and never had the chance to take some pics. It felt way safer and sturdier transporting my bike with the D-rings than originally with the bed cleats. Thanks everyone who pointed me in the right direction :D

    Is your rear wheel entirely on the tailgate? I was wondering about how much of my bike I could fit on our bed. Think diagonally it'll be all on the bed?

    These aren't drilled into the bed...they are held in with the bed bolts.
    There is a write-up in the DIY thread on this.

    The wheel sits on the tailgate; directly above the rear bumper. I've not tried diagonal loading, but I've seen it work...just not with the R6.

    One of the best and cheapest mods that can be done. I think these should have been standard on Tacoma's. Great job man
