D2S Retrofit Kit!

Miromoto D2S 5.0 Retrofit Projectors; Miromoto H4 HID wiring relay harness; BMW OEM ballasts(brand new direct from BMW; cost almost $800 each); Phillips D2S Bulbs.

This kit I put together was for the purpose of creating the ultimate plug and play setup without worrying about reliability. I know I paid way too much for the ballasts but it is what it is. They are geniune BMW ballasts New that I bought from the stealership. I’d post a photo of them when I get home.

I am asking for only $600 shipped. All you need to complete this kit is just the shrouds for the projectors in whatever flavor you like, or any LED RGB Halos or whatever fancy effect your going for.

I lost interest in my retrofit so I never got around to finishing it. My lost is your gain. If no one buys it; I’d come around to doing it someday lol. In no hurry to sell just thought I’d throw it out there for someone whose more ambitious about opening up their headlights.

Ah I figure there wasn’t any interest so I didn’t care to take a photo. I’d go dig them out in the morning and get a photo; lol.

I know they are exactly like these; I ordered from the stealership so I was raped on pricing but too late now. ECS got these ballasts for about almost $375 a piece; same ones just not stealership prices.

It’s 9pm here; tomorrow morning I’d go dig them out and post a photo.

 

I started the retrofit process since this didn’t sell; once it’s completed; price will go up if I don’t keep it; last call.

ran into some fogging issues but turns out it was because I pushed the breather caps in too far so the headlight wasn’t able to breathe properly, now all fixed by just pulling them outward more.

I really wanna see the BRM trim and how it looks with just the DRLs on. I just finished my retrofits and now thinking I should have done the trim in BRM

 

I haven't taken more photos but I will tomorrow, I like it and I don't like it but its slowly growing on me with having the color-matched surrounds. The foglights are throwing it off but I have a set of Diode Dynamics Yellow LED fog pods coming soon.

I painted the reflector bowl for the headlight and I tinted the TurnSignal/DRL reflector bowl. They aren't as bright as they use to be and I do have LED's in them. But I figure with the switchback RGB halos in the should that should help with turn signal indications; waiting for my Morimoto RGB controller to show up.
