I saw this video for the first time today. He hit the nail right on the head with how "some" kids behave these days. They don't want too work but they want you to buy them everything.

Well I'm not a parent, but I completely agree! haha I especially like the kids with a great life, and in their teen years "nobody understands them". Most grow out of it though, fortunately.

Just a bunch of old crap
    So, here's my thought..

The daughter is only going to be more pissed off at her parents and thus more spiteful. While I think what dad did was pretty cool, I think it made things worse. Now she's publicly embarassed because everyone she knows has probably seen the video now (not that she didn't deserve to be embarrassed after being a douchebaguette to her parents publicly), and she's going to be extra resentful.

I think all-in-all, this will be counterproductive. Sounds like this little snot won't know how good she has it until she's all growed up and out in the big world paying her own bills. Then she'll appreciate all of the things her parents have given her.

That is exactly what her dad is trying to avoid. When she moves out, by the time she realizes that she is in the real world now, it may already be too late.

I took awhile I'm sure before the dad got to this point, I wouldn't care about the kid's resentment, too effin bad, she pushed them to this point, she got what she deserved, she doesn't like it, fine, move out and don't let the door hit you on the way out!

This is true for most teens isn't it? Not that I was anywhere that bad but I do have much more appreciation for my parents now than when I was a teen.
