    my dad collects Colt and S&W pistols and cant really find him anything he doesnt already have. does anyone have any unique kinda pistol by colt or s&w they would like to sell?

    Just an idea, why get the pistol. Why not get him something old from Colt or S&W, like one of their tins, or an old mint advertisement.
    I know it is pretty coooool when you look at a collection of pieces and see other items related to the manufacturer.

    Try a Colt or S&W forum, may want to hit the bigger Colt .45 page (1911, 1911A1).

    Prices for Colts are thru the roof.
    If your dad's a collector, finding something unique would be pricey.
    If you have the dough, it's a fun hobby.

    i have a really old colt "police positive" .32 6shooter i got from my Dad when he passed away back in the summer. i think im wanting to hold onto it for a while.
