Daily driver clean cut build

Nice! I bought an 05 ls430 for my wife about 8 years ago, loved that car. Got totalled of course. My dream is to graduate into a big body lexus on bags.

Bought a junk 98 acura cl with a 2.3 and manual transmission to do my 5 speed swap. Unfortunately even though the cl has same engine and trans for my 99 accord, the body is based off the 94-97 accord so things like the clutch pedal, shifter, and clutch hydro line will not work.

Went to picknpull today and found the only 98-02 accord manual I have ever seen there. Was able to get shifter, shifter cables, 5 speed ecu, and trans mount bracket. Someone had already robbed the clutch and brake pedal but easy to find on ebay.

Took the head off the 250k engine and its not great. Going to check bottom end bearing and see what a hone will do for it. Wanting to boost after manual swap is all finished up.

Hoping to be manual trans in a month or so.

i have a soft spot for 2003-2007 accord v6 6 speed. had 5 of them. would love another one, but covid made the prices insane. used to be a $2500-$3500 car. now people want $8000.

 

Clean integras are selling for 10k now. And a clean integra is still a 20 year old rattle trap thats had 6 owners
