I’m aware. I’m from upstate originally. The laws are tight and county regulated. It gets easier in some places, pistol permit, not the cc, but that’s only for that specific county.

It’s such a joke. PA is a lot better. I walked into an agway and they had ARs on the shelf cash and carry

Fireworks stores on the border of pa, you can only buy with an out of state license, and they are illegal in the neighboring state. :D

If you live somewhere where downed trees are a lot you know an axe ain’t helping haha. Either it’s small enough to pull off the road or large enough you should carry a chainsaw.

Even Upstate? I had always thought it was it was non-existent in NYC but not an issue everywhere else (concealed carry)

Certain areas are a bit better, but it’s when your out in the real boonies that you’ll find that type of thing, from what I know anyway, maybe things have changed.

    Probably forgot something.

I have a tool bag I throw in the truck when camping, going off road or bugging out. I have plenty of camping and backpacking gear that can also be quickly thrown in. Ammo pouch, 556 and G19 also would be added

I also live in a free state with open carry, car carry, concealed carry and constitutional carry. My permit is good in 36 states and I don't care to go to the other 14.

Truck has rock sliders and skid plates. Never know when you might have to jump curbs or rioters.

All jokes aside (and damn, you guys are funny as shit with threads like this), I only commute maybe 10 miles a day. If the SHTF, I dont have much time on the road before I'm home. In addition to normal recovery stuff like cables, straps, etc, I keep some essentials in the truck, in two bins under the Diamondback bin. If I need the full length of the bed, they slide out pretty easily.

Good lord, if I carried all the stuff some of ya'll list I'd need to get a bigger truck. But I do carry some of the essentials listed above AND of course my AAA card with I think it's 240 miles towing. New truck or not.
