    Guys,

I'm getting a dakar leaf pack for my 08 Sport Taco. I am just double checking I have everything for the install. I've seen a few install videos on youtube and read forums here. No one seems to post a list of what is needed for the install. Here is what I'm getting :
    • EMU Bushings (4 Bushings and 2 Sleeves)
    • U Bolts (4)
    • FK 29 Driveline carrier drop (1 kit)
Am I missing anything ? I do only need 4 bushings and 2 sleeves right ? Also, i've read that Dakar leaf packs are notorious for squeaks. What can I do to avoid squeaks before I install them? Thanks for the help.

Check oz-t's squeaky Dakar thread, there's a few options for the squeak: pond liner, zip ties, and myself and a few others have/ are installing isolator pads on the leafs that don't have them.

Some have said that OEM bushings are quieter than the polys, that is what I went with. You'll need 4, part number 90389-A0003.

When I installed them I went with oem bushings and not polys to avoid sqeeks. Also, because the lift of the pack was 2.75 you may want to consider extended rear brake lines.

    Don't need brake lines.

Might not need the CB drop (I didn't).

I have poly bushings and cb drop kit, and still have driveline vibes. Havent done a shim kit yet. My vibes are only on take off, from 1-10mph, then they go away. I dont have much squeaking yet, but I will addres that if/when it comes

OP - If you go with the OEM bushings, they have to be pressed in. A bench vise works great.
