I have everything you're installing but opted for Kings. The rears sir fairly high initial but will settle down some.

I thought everything was pretty straight forward during the install. I did it all by myself one night.

No way you will sit leveled without removing the 3rd leaf, or cranking up your front end which will result in major CV angles.

It's your standard 285/75/16. I will probably bump up to a 35" tire once these tires are worn out.

False. I sit almost level with a slight rake with my install. It will be very raked initially but it settles after a week or so

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Dude really take this opportunity to give it a shot. Just if you need an extra hand or a tool you don't have its worth it. I used the one on our base when I was in even for oil changes. One of the best perks of the base. USE IT! Also I removed a leaf. I doubt you will be happy if you don't.

I have the 2.5 FOX extended fronts, leaf pack in rear. I bet you will have some rake after the coils settle. I cranked mine up after settling, but on the verge of too much preload. I am going to switch the coils out for 14" instead of the 13" it comes withto get a level ride.

I'm glad you asked this question as I am looking at the same setup. I have the coils but need the rear pack. The one thing that concerns me is the ride quality with the full pack.

The Dakars are designed for weight, so if you have no weight in the bed, or at least an armor bumper, then I would think the ride would be very rough and not worth it no?

From this thread it sounds like I am going to remove the overload and not have to crank the coils as much. I'd rather have a quality ride. Either way, the pack will be better than stock.

Pics would be helpful in this thread.

It's not very noticeable at all. OP just doesn't want overly rake look which it's not.

The ride with no weight in the bed is a bit stiff but it's tolerable for me at least. Check my build thread for pics. I'll have a pic up in the morning of how my truck sits.

Looks a little low in the rear to me. ;)

Leave the extra leaf OP. A little rake is way better than lower in the rear.

I hear they don't settle much after the initial settling time from install. Still thinking about removing a leaf in mine lol

Probably wouldnt hurt if you want to sit level. They are more or less a flat riding leaf pack...The offroaders love them for the flex....

FYI the more you even the truck out I found the front gets a lot stiffer and the rear gets softer with the weight shifting towards the rear.

I ran a full Dakar pak on my 03 Tacoma with a canopy it sat level.. I am debating removing the overload on this pak (for 16 taco) or the 3rd leaf from top? as I will be running an ARB & winch up front with full OME suspension but no canopy and until I get the front dialed in, I don't want mass rake..

Exactly how i feel. I want level, or at max 1" rake. I'd be removing the top overload
