I have a 3rd Gen and have been thinking about going with the Headstrong Fox Level 3 kit. I'm looking at trying for a modest 1-1.5" lift. Where I'm on the fences is on the rear leaf packs. I'll be carrying a constant weight of about 350lbs in the bed, but I'm thinking that this might end up with 1.5" lift on the medium Dakars, as they note that it's a 2" lift with no added weight.

On average, what are people seeing for lift (after settling) on the Mediums when loaded with your camping/overland gear? I was also thinking about going HD and this way, worst case, I can remove a leaf. Interested to get your thoughts on those who have installed.

    Thanks in advance!

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
I just installed the medium Dakar last week, and over my rear axle right now I have my RTT, bed rack, hi-lift jack, and whatever weight is shared from the sliders. I am measuring 23 1/4" on the passenger side and 22 1/2" on the driver side. Stock is ~22". I am sure my numbers will decrease over time as it sags. I don't even have all my other camping gear such as my cooler and food and such. I'm not sure the mediums are going to be enough for me and might add the leaf to make it into a heavy pack. I was in the same boat as you. I never carry 600 pounds but I think the mediums really sag without much weight.
