I installed a set of Dakar leaf springs on my 3rd gen with the OME BP-51 lift and after about 1,200 miles I noticed a loud CLACK coming from the driver's side rear suspension.
after jacking my rear wheels off the ground I noticed the spring seemed to be separating, causing them to slap together when I drive on dirt roads or patchy pavement. has anyone seen this before and if so what do I do about it? replace the leaf pack?

Is the gap all the way thru from front to rear? If so maybe the center pin holding the pack of leaf springs together might not be tighten all the way.

These don't have a full military wrap, correct? As mentioned check the center pin bolt. I am assuming the axle is hanging by the springs in these pictures. It could be a bent spring.

Those look broken, can you look inside the mounting bracket to see if something snapped?
