Trying to see if the roughly $200 dollar difference between the RXT and Dakar makes a noticeable difference in ride quality on and off-road. What do ya'll think?

Also, 2.0 or 2.5 rear shocks (remote resi w/ comp adj)? About $200 difference in price too.

Swapping out my whole suspension. Mostly daily driver, but do get on fire/forest roads. Camp in Arkansas mountains once a month or every other month. The front will be 2.5 resi w/ comp adj. 70% of the time, my bed is empty. The other 30% is mostly loaded down w/ at least 400 lbs.

I’ve got the RXT springs on my tundra and have been very happy with it. Ride is excellent on and off road. I’ve got at least 400 lbs on the bed all the time plus gear.

There won't be many people who have had both on the same truck.

What I can say is that Dakars have a tendency to be squeaky and that Icon are a bunch of chodes.

    Haha gotcha.
I am looking at getting Radflo. I want mine custom valved and they seem the cheapest option when it comes to custom valving them from the manufacturer plus adding a comp adj all around. Well, the price is the same as kings, but the difference is mine will be tuned. Accutune has nice stuff, but they were gonna run me about $500 more based on their website with kings or fox for the same "setup".

usually no. If they are covered in dirt / mud they may a little but once I clean them they are fine again.

Kings would only be about $200 more total with adjusters, and I can assure you it's not going to be the "same setup" as Radflo. Who is tuning the shocks?

RXTs will ride much better than Dakar packs. The Dakar packs run stiff and meant for heavy loads. With our custom shock tuning, we work around the springs being used as well

What I meant by "set up" is comparing:
Rear: 2.5 ext travel remote resi w/ comp adj
Front: 2.5 ext travel remote resi w/ comp adj
    Tuned

Based on that alone comparing prices from vendor websites to websites (without discounts) it's about $500 difference total.
Radflo themselves will be doing the tune.
I know kings are great; been passengers in rigs with them, but for my type of driving, it's overkill. Heard a lot of good stuff with Radflo and can't seem to find complaints about them so trying them out.

What are your plans for future mods? Topper? Rear bumper? Etc.

Dakars are okay until you start adding weight.

I decided to just go ahead with the RXT. I have a custom made bed rack w/ RTT on top. Also add about another 200lbs on top of that w/ gear. I unload after a trip including removing the bed rack + RTT to use as a daily driver.
Not sure yet if I will get a rear bumper. Maybe way in the future.

Just a heads up, I believe OME is about to release an updated version of their Dakar leaf packs that have addressed some of the issues people were having. I was able to get the new version of the EL095R which is the EL111R. Install is this Saturday.

I was able to get mine through a warranty claim so I am not sure, but I am assuming they are close to, if not the same as the current ones. I don't think they are released yet but I assume it's going to be in the near future.
