I've had mine for 2 years now with no noise at all and I live in Colorado. Have they ever been greased? The anti friction pads are greasable and should be greased like any other routine maintenance. A lot of people install them and never grease them then complain about the noise. Once the pads wear thru since they have no grease it's metal on metal. There is a video some where that shows how to do this. They do sell new anti friction pads if they are worn out too. The bushing could be worn out too if they weren't greased when installed. I have some OCD when it comes to maintenance just that I know if I'm on a trail in the middle of no where I can count on things not to prematurely fail.

    It’s a feature, adjustable suspension.

mine squeak. Not enough to annoy me. But plenty of solutions mentioned here already. Also doesn’t matter if you are medium or HD Dakar’s.

Yeah not sure to be honest. The guys who did it know their stuff so i'm assuming they lubed it. Can I do everything you explained without taking the leafs apart?

Yes they were designed to be greased with out taking them apart. There are 2 on each pack I believe that you can't get to from the bottom so you have to spread the leafs. Look at post 4 he used a screw driver to spread the leafs but I've used a pry bar. It is much easier and safer if you do it with back end in the air and no weight on the springs. Found the video it's worth a watch and how I do mine minus the lift.

I have the new “squeak-free” version and they still squeak like a MFer. Actually mine creak now and sound like they are falling off.

I need to grease mine like every week and a half to keep them squeak free. It’s a waste of time.
