So it sounds like I need to take out fender liner first and later on if I decide I want them I’ll have them but no need for them now

 

Do you have some pictures of where you are making contact? (I really just want to see more pics of your truck)

 

Didn’t even notice it was touching upfront until now but it’s not to bad.
Is there a specific way to remove the black clips that hold the fender liner or just yank them? **edit, just push in the tabs … after doing one I wanna just cut them all off and order all new ones hah**

No it rubs pretty bad just turning. Figured I’d do this then flex and do some more.
@the.sight.picture did you mean you ordered new tabs for the liner or fender flare? Seems like I might break something removing this flare lol

They will both break. You can find them on Amazon in bulk.

 

Both. Fender flares and push pin liner snaps. Also, if you want to really be sure, some self tapping screws dont hurt. I have one on each side of my fender flares

 

You are also gonna need to trim the front of the liners. Theres a thread called intro to fitting 35s that helped me some

I imagine lots of things with this truck. My bank account brings me back to reality.

 

I think I’m gonna just keep the liners out for now… looking at my engine bay I’m not really sure how much they helped before other than keeping some occasional mist out of my intake.

 

If you drive gravel roads, they help lol. Also, I dont remember if you have a snorkle, but you'll need one if you are running no liners.

I pressure wash pounds of mud out my fenders from Chris's and other places. I'm telling you, well worth the 300 or so bucks for the dobinson

Good point, no snorkel yet (I try to avoid water for the most part). I might try to make my own. My parents have this roll of “slide material”, it’s like thick plastic, from a camp we use to run. That seems like it’ll mold well with a heat gun. Something like this (https://www.farmtek.com/farm/suppli...ax_sheets-ft_polymax_wall_rolls;pg106854.html) but who knows I might just stick the og liner back in some how once everything is trimmed.
