It's a 35k-40k truck right? I'm all down for messing around with stuff, just not things that if they fail I'd have to replace the motor.

I'd still plan on getting a snorkle, but play with that stuff and let me know how it goes

You could make an intake stack! Like the big rigs. But backwards.

Dude, of all the aftermarket shit on my truck, non offroad people always point to the snorkle and ask what it's for, and why I have it.

It's like, of ALL the shit on my truck, you ask about that damn thing lol

Ditto. They either ask what it's for or they have some smart ass comment.

That's funny because he proved he knows nothing about snorkels for trucks and nothing about diving.

At the gas station this morning, a guy asked about parts off my truck for his pullin truck. I told him he definitely needed a snorkel.

Should be the first modification to every truck ever. Then the other old coot that told me I ruined my truck can eat it!

So I think I figured out why I was confused when I looked at your trucks CMC. Yours is chopped (looks like a decent bit more on one side) but no plate welded back right?

-edit- did you grind, check, grind, check etc. or something different?

I had a cmc done, with 1/4 inch plate.

I then cut it off because I was still rubbing at stuff with the wheel locked.

Then I started to rub in more places, even with my alignment the same (I have no idea why) so at that point, I said I'm tired of dealing with this, and started cutting whatever I was rubbing on. I still rub from time to time at full stuff, depending on tire angle, but on the front of the top fender, which has now self cleared lol.

Basically, when you think you've cut enough, keep fucking cutting.

With all the shit I talk about STMAXX being amazing, this was bound to happen to me.

Sidewall failure at 15 psi, on tires with less than 10k miles, I'll have to get a picture of the hole tommorow

Flagpole got a tire off of me finally

yea I was joking. But….. I did do that with a tire on a CJ7 I had and it held air till I sold it. Not telling you to do it, but if you had to you probably could.
