    asthetically, it is soooo much better.

    as mentioned before, i used a deburring tool to clean up the edges.
    also to trim back the edges that contact the fender flare.

    the "gouging" edge no longer even touches the truck

    Nice! I did the same thing a few weeks back and found a dremel to be an easy, excellent tool to use as well. I trimmed the fronts and left the back stock.
