Damn headlight and parking light question

Really getting on my nerves!! the driver parking light went out, then the passenger headlight. No big deal ill go get bulbs. Now I cant get the parking light plug in to remove. Is there a secret im missing????

I plug in the headlight and few secs later it starts smoking...WTF!! any suggestions? Im using silverstars.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.

Finger oils will kill Headlight and halogen bulbs fast!
