Do you notice everyone flashes you and thinks you have your brights on? Since I have got my second gen, I have noticed it's happening all the time. When I pass a second gen I flash them too thinking they have their brights on. Lol. I like having bright lights though. The best is flashing them back with your actual brights being like,

Happens to me all the damn time. I'm pretty sure because of my lift. The rear use to be higher stock set up now the front is slightly higher. I will adjust my lights but waiting to put some shackles in the rear before I adjust them so I only have to do it once. I do like flashing them back though lol

Do you have aftermarket lights? I've never been flashed and have only once caught someone in front of me shielding their eyes at a stop light. If you're lifted you NEED to realign your headlights. You'll get better light spread where it should be ON THE ROAD and the people in front of you won't be pissed off.

On the flip side, people in CA seem to love driving with their brights on even with plenty of street lights.

If you are lifted, have you re-aimed your lights?

Wouldn't know. Have stocks, and always leave the fog lights on just to see the roads better. Definitely need a change soon. Just don't know what to go with.

If your headlights are properly aimed - and legal - you should not get flashed. Improperly aimed and or crappy aftermarket lights are the reason for most flashing. (Unless of course if you have your high beams on ...)

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I've only been flashed when I installed my lift and the front needed to settle. Haven't been flashed since then.

When I lifted, I re-adjusted my headlights. It needed to be done.
When I purchased a set of retrofit projectors from ambiguous, I re-adjusted my headlights. Surprisingly they were pretty dead on, so not much was needed.
I see lifted vehicles around here all the time that have obviously not re-aimed, and it annoys me.

Our pilot was like that. Brand new off the lot, lights were too high. I took it eventually and had them re-align them.

Every Damn Morning I get flashed. I give it back to them while the middle finger is out the window letting them know that they are #1.

Lift or no lift, Taco headlights will be at eye level for a majority of oncoming traffic. It's literally a 5-minute fix with a screwdriver. If you don't get it perfect, it's easily adjustable.

It's real simple to check your lights. On a flat surface with your headlights on low beam drive up to a wall with the front of the truck within a foot of the wall. Get out and mark the the the top of the cut off line for each headlight. I use tape to mark. Get back in the truck and move it straight back 25'. The headlight cut of line should be approx. 2" lower than the tape marks. Also if you have any stray light above your cut off line either your bulbs are not installed correctly or they are poor quality. Scattered light is also a reason other drivers will flash their lights.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
Don't enjoy flashing them back. They are just trying to tell you that you are blinding them. And you shouldn't be. Aim them properly. Give other drivers a break. Not their fault you're blinding them.

If you're getting flashed, it's because you're impairing other drivers' vision. Rather than flashing them back, why don't you do as others have mentioned and re-aim your lights? Think about it. Do you really want several thousand pounds of steel being guided by a blind man barreling toward you?

Unless they're driving a car that's slammed to the ground.

Then they did it to themselves.
