Been traveling out of town and having to park my truck. Well I'm out getting to boat and truck ready for the lake tomorrow and I kept seeing red wasps flying around and I popped my hood and saw this asshole just waiting to sting me! image.jpg
I knocked the nest down with a screw driver and bolted across the yard. Lol, my dog was like whatever we're running!

You want a mean Wasp , then look up Tarantula hawk . If you see a 3" long blueish colored body with red wings don't piss it off or try and kill it . These wasps are rated #2 on the Schmidt sting rating for the most painful sting . Just for reference the #1 insect is the Bullet ant

I've seen quite a few Tarantula hawk's in my area recently and when I walk by one I'm very careful to not piss it off

I'm 3 for 4 summers on getting popped by a wasp. We have plank wood horse fence and they build in the gates. So when you open the gate they swarm and I always get hit.

You ever seen the video of the guy who was in Africa or something. And while he was their a village had a test for "manhood"?

He stuck his hand in a pipe deal full of those ants. He ended up in the ER like a couple hours later. Dude was legit messed up. Pretty sure they were bull ants.

I've seen that, some village it's like a right of passage to manhood, kids sticking their hands in "mitts" full of bullet ants and they have to withstand it for X amount of time.

Wasps I think I could handle. But if my truck got infested with spiders? Nope, nope nope. Light the truck on fire and consider it a loss.

This is one of the little dicks that want in my house this morning.

Windows open and I can hear him buzzing the screen.

Last summer I was trimming a bush (giggity) and after a minute or 2 noticed I was surrounded by wasps. The noise of the trimmer pissed em off, I didn't hit the nest. I didn't know where the nest was, the bush was about 8 feet around with a pile of rocks in the back.

I retreated and stocked up on ammo at walmart. I soaked the whole bush with about a half dozen cans of spray. Then emptied 3 more cans into the rock pile. I left it alone after that. Last week I tried to trim it again and didn't see any.

I put a little boat in the pond out back of my property. When I slid away in the water I looked at a bush on the edge of the pond. Hanging on that bush was a wasp nest the size of a dinner plate, no lie. I thought had I been just a foot over I would have hit the bush. I rowed over to the other side got out, went to the barn and got all the spray we had. I went back and sprayed a whole can and ran for the hills. Went back the next day and the nest was empty. I knocked it into the water and looked for more nests.

Got a problem with them too. They build nests on my boat and they are a pain to get cleaned up!
