    Hey everyone,

Life has shown my wife and I some big changes over the last few years. We moved from NY down to central NC in 2016 and the area is slowly beginning to rub off on us. With the addition of a new baby, and my growing business as a DJ, musician, and audio engineer, the amount of shit in my car has only grown. From slowly moving upward in size from a Civic, to a CR-V, CR-V with a small trailer, Pilot, and then a Pilot with a larger trailer, I've finally made it up to my first 'truck' - a 16 SR5 4x2 DCSB.

While not being new to cars at all, this is my first blunder into truck territory, which is exciting in that I have something new to mod! (CR-V's and Pilots aren't exactly fun to play around with) Earlier in the summer I was looking to add a new toy to play with (I have an S2000 and wanted another quick-ish Jap car), so even though this isn't exactly what I had in mind, it's still something to learn about and play with - all while being necessary for my life at the moment. The wife is happy because there isn't a 3rd car of mine in the driveway, and I'm happy I get something Japanese that I can play with a bit.

Took about a week to find the right truck. I went back and forth from this 2016 and a brand new 2018 Sport, but ultimately decided to save the coin and keep the payments low to have money to mod. Looking to add a cap/camper/shell/topper (how many names do these things have???), remove as much chrome and grey interior, as I can, and do some moderate visual stuff (black accents/running boards/bull bar/maybe some LED stuff).

That's all for now. Pics on the way for fun. Thanks for reading!

...So I just traded in my 4 day old truck.

....For a new one thats almost exactly the same!

Dealer called back and offered a stupid deal on a new Sport. Lost no money on the other one, and ended up with this one fully wrapped for cheaper than I could get onto it a week ago . let's try to keep this one more than a few days!

Regardless of the industry, if you work hard, you get to play hard! :)

Thanks for the warm welcomes! Now you can all turn over and start calling me a pavement princess. Let the games begin!

Hard work pays off for some that's for sure. I too am a Pavement Princess, but I bought her knowing she'd not see hardly any REAL off-road time. That's why I got a 4x2 though.
