Damn you KO2s

Reading your comment and trying to squash the bug that somehow managed to get between the screen protector and screen of my phone,,,,,,

I bet I’m not the first to be fooled,,,,, I hope.

 

Anyone notice how bad the wet traction is with Ko2 tires? Any kind of wet surface, the wheels just want to spin.

 

I once obsessed over Ko2's but decided on these: Ohtsu AT4000, 265/65/17 $108 each....yup, I took a chance on a "cheap" AT tire and found that they are not cheaply made at all. Japanese build quality although they are manufactured in Thailand. So far I got 1500 miles on them (I know, still new) They balanced great and are still in balance, good in the rain, good traction on light off-roading, and very quiet. Good bang for the buck.

 

MTRs are most likely my next tire. They seem to hold up to abuse great and are good on the road and rocks. They're just a bit pricey.

 

MTRs have been through hell and back and have never let me down...neither has my Jeep.

 

Falken and Ohtsu are both owned and made by Sumitomo

 

You mean they spin on a unweighted back end? Not any more than other tires...

 

I have 265/75/16 I tow and haul rocks sometimes, so I went with E’s. Not bad, even offroad while empty.
