Ouch. Maybe try a clay Bar? Or a cutting wax? Check the detailing section, I'm sure someone has had swirl marks in black paint.

I'm guessing you dried it with a towel that scratched the clear coat microscopically and now it looks like poo in the sun?

I had a black truck before this one. I'll never own a black vehicle again.

If it's bad, any reputable body shop can cut and buff.

Maybe join a 12 step program. Hi I'm "insert name here" and I'm addicted to shiney paint. I'm already sponsoring some poor bastard with a white truck that he can't keep clean or I'd help. Good luck.

Go out and get her dirty. You'll have fun and hide the scratches!

Same here, owned a black car once. Never again. Black shows everything, and looks dirty 5 minutes after you finish washing it.

Like most have said here black is the hardest to keep swirl marks out of. I will never own another black vehicle (though I think black is probably one of the prettiest colors). If they aren't too deep this works wonders for "hiding" the marks. It will however not do away with them. It will make them less noticeable though. Hope this helps.

Invest in the absorber to dry your truck, it's around $10 at walmart

When i was first looking for a tacoma this past summer, I got a BSP one. I specifically wanted an access cab, auto, 4x4, trd OR. They were rare, and when this one showed up, i jumped on it. A few months later I started to realize what i got into. I'm like my father with vehicles, meaning we like them looking good and were pretty damn picky about it. I know it has been said a hundred times, but i would spend an entire afternoon cleaning that truck and making it look great. By the next morning, you couldnt tell I did a damn thing to it, and i would be staring at the dust clearly visible on the hood. It advertised every single blemish like a billboard! I'm only 25 and not that experienced with vehicles. It was a nice truck and I had pretty much just gotten it, but I didnt want to be breaking my neck staring at silvers every time they drove by for the next 10 years. I found a silver 3 hours away that had all my requirements, and traded. I do not regret doing it. I will NEVER get a black vehicle ever, ever again.
