    Sucks ass. We backed into each other. I guess I'm lucky. I only have dented plastic. The other car has torn metal.

    Private property parking lot too so the popo isn't going to declare anyone at fault.

    Depending on what a new bumper costs I might just get some steel replacement.

    I don't know why I thought I only had plastic damage. I must have been confused with my previous vehicle which had plastic bumpers. This is metal for me too :(

    It is metal..but its more like just sheet metal..not 3/16in steel plate :)

    Hmm.. we weren't going to involve insurance companies because of the nature of the accident. Guess what. Just got a call from her about insurance info. lol

    So, now I wonder if I could use my claim and autobody repair shop to order and install a custom aftermarket bumper. Any thoughts on that?

    More damage than I thought. The whole side panel is bowed out and the tail light is cracked.
