i like it, not a V8 sound by any means but it does give a nice growl and since i didn't want to spend a lot of money on an exhaust for a V6 i felt this was the best route. it does sound nice and deep but really sounds great when it cold starts.

@Via038 I found them on Amazon... they were cheapie ones as I wasn't sure if I wanted to do the relocation above in the sunglass holder area or under the radio with the added button slots... so I went the cheaper route to make sure I didn't waste too much money... just look up toggle switches and should be easy to find...

UPDATE: I am now officially sponsored by CBI Offroad and Timbren Industries! very excited to be working with these two teams as they have had nothing but quality products for the 3GENs... i'll be doing a full write up and install on CBI Offroads T3 front and rear bumpers and Timbren's front and rear bump stop kit. stay tuned for new updates/pictures and as always I appreciate all the comments and questions in my build thread!

@SLACKBOY i love them! in all honesty it will depend on how your going to use them... i go out on the trails when i can but its not often and usually very tame like fire roads etc. i use the truck as my DD and with a wife with bad knees from multiple surgeries and kids who aren't quite big enough to hop in the side steps were the most functional option for me... if i went rock crawling and used the truck harder i would ultimately go with the sliders... but make sure you choose according to how you'll use them verses how they look or if you think they wont look "off roadish" just do what works for you and you cant go wrong! hope this helps...

I was looking at Avid slider steps which look like rock sliders but bolt to factory running board.

those look okay but i feel the sizing and the strength of that tubing they are more aiming towards the slider design and look but the use of limited off roading... if you want true sliders i would go with CBI, mobtown etc. these guys are making solid built sliders built to take a beating... like i said if you want it more for just assisting you in and out of the truck i would go with the NFab style as it provides the looks and the assist in getting in and out

how often do you plan to go rock crawling or extreme off road? dirt/gravel roads that are serviced dont really count as you wont encounter too many boulders lol

then i would definitely go with side steps verses sliders... you'll get more use out of them and they're cheaper in price

Is there any long term damage or issues with spidertrax spacers?
