Daniel Defense is GTG, a bit on the $$$ side for an ar though imo.

there are a bunch of good ar makers these days... i happen to like CMMG, ..i think they make good product and i like the teflon hardcoat anodized finish - nice satin look and easy to wipe down :)

Best mil-spec for the money would be Bravo Company (BCM). Good luck with your purchase.

Agreed, recommend a mid-length gas tube version.

Anyone noticed how ARs are mostly out of stock now? Not to mention that reloading tools and components are hard to find. Funny how that happens.

My next buy, after I get my current AR fixed up, will be a Daniel Defense upper.

Between that and the "end of the world" people. My wife spent a Saturday evening watching Doomsday Preppers, and then told me to "go out and get everything you need - rifles, shotguns, reloading stuff..."

Hell, I've been trying to talk her into that for months already, so I could get back into competition!
