Dare I mention, my bugs are gone and am happy with my 2016 Tacoma.

I had shifting problems before the reflashes . Other than that , my rearend dif was re torqued and has stayed dry since then . Yes I was apprehensive about buying a new model , and I only have 10K miles , but all is good for me.
After going on 2 years , I plan to keep it for another 10 + . No problem pulling my pontoon boat or my fishing boat . It does as good or better than my old 98 Dodge 1500 with the 5.9 for power , much better for mpgs. . Not a perfect truck , but pretty good . So far no regrets .

Unknown lift, maybe 2" I don't know how to ID it, and would rather set it back to stock.
OP--keep in touch over the long run. Good luck to you of course.

I'm pretty much in the same boat at +25,000 miles. I get the rare R to D lag in extreme (for Texas) cold but not even consistently then. I had the tiniest bit of moisture on the rear diff that got everything replaced per the recall. Other than that I'm pretty happy.

Nice to hear from the silent majority once and awhile.

Just brought my truck in for 25k service today, CPS recall taken care of and on my way.

Nothing is perfect, but this truck is pretty solid imo.

    Glad others have similar opinions.

    Cheers
