Yeah, closer to the date, I hope to scout the potential trails and take pics with my dogs.

They're 8X8 so don't get stuck and pull me 30+kms daily no problem.

Ok I'm hearing sounds of lockdown from the National. News program.
this if it happens will be my 3rd. Time having a lockdown put in place just in front of a trip.

I am not too worried, worst case I hope they go back to the previous phase where we can travel but stores are closed, plus I have never felt Ottawa area didn't want "illegal aliens", the same way Northbay showed.

 

Was thinking about traffic. Plus wanted to visit Hydro dam just for fun.
Let's see when the time get closer.

 

I know for quebec it's only for stores and restaurants shutting down along with the cerfew going back to 8pm for Gatineau all the way to Quyon but for the rest of the Pontiac like shawville it's still at 9 30pm. So I'm sure we will be fine for the trip

 

It's a good thing I have a cottage in renfrew so worst case if i can't make it back in time for curfew I'll just stay the night there

 

We can do that on the way back home too, like a chill return, north bay style

 

I need this trip to keep me sane.

Hi guys, I work directly with Covid outbreaks and it has been highly stressful, fun times like this where a bunch of ppl from far away congregate are really not cool at this point. I had hoped things would have been going better by now but we all see what is happening. With the lack of a government that has functioning testicles and a population to ignorant to do the right thing I ethically must back out :-(

 

OK guys, it's oficial, restrictions for next 4 weeks: Maximum 5 people in a group Outdoors. We will have to split in 2 groups If we end up with 10 vehicles.

No biggie.
We will sort out the camping next week. If it's around wabun, I think there is 2 or 3 areas for camping.

 

I totally understand your position.

Would you still be able to give us tips about camping? We would need 2 areas close to each other if possible
