    Updated 6/24/2018:

    upload_2017-8-15_10-18-47.jpg

    Suspension:

    Bilstein 5100s (front and rear)
Maxtrac Spindles with factory TRD Off-Road coils (previously OME 887s)
    Light Racing adjustable UCAs
    Icon Progressive AAL
    Extended break lines

    Wheels/Tires:

    17x8.5 Stealth Custom Series SR8s
    285/70/17 BFG KO2s, bro...

    Exterior:

    Custom retrofits (@kustom54lighting)
Morimoto XB LED Type T Fogs
    Jumper LED Switchback DTRLs
    Black LED tail replacements
Color-matched front grill surround, rear bumper, and door handles.

    Fog-light anytime mod
    Debadged
    Window Tint
Exhaust chopped and dumped over axle

    Shorty Antennae

    Interior:

    Painted shift bezel (black)
    AJT Design custom shift knob
    LED interior replacement
    Climate control knob mod lol

Bought the truck in July of 2015:

    2015 DCSB Prerunner
    13 miles on the ODO

    upload_2016-6-2_10-5-52.jpg

I decided to tackle the simple mods first. Shorty antenna, window tint (5%), LED interior lighting, dipped badges. I will probably have to lighten up the front a bit to pass NC inspection.

    upload_2016-6-2_10-7-17.jpg

Then I replaced the chrome grill surround with a super white color match (ebay)

    upload_2016-6-2_10-7-48.jpg

After getting rid of the chrome in the front, I was itching to color match the rear bumper. I grabbed some white plasti-dip from Lowes and was honestly shocked at how well it matches. You can't tell, even up close (aside from texture). Initially, this was going to be temporary until I found a white rear bumper, but now I am in no rush to replace.

It was around March of this year when I finally decided to start with the fun stuff. Thanks to anyone and everyone who may have helped me out along the way. I decided to go with the following setup:

    17 x 8.5 Stealth Custom Series SR8 - Matt Jet Black
    285/70R17 BFG KO2
    OME 887s
    Bilstein 5100s (driver side lean-spacer)
    1.5" AAL
    LR UCAs

The only snag we hit on the front was the little bit of metal we had to bend out of the way to successfully remove the UCA bolt (not pictured)

The next day, I was able to get the 285 KO2s and 17 SR8s mounted:

Finally got around to swapping the single AAL to the ICON progressive pack. I did remove overload also. What a difference, very happy. Not much change in height, less than a half inch. Thanks @Bannerman for the help!

(No, the brake lines aren't maxed out, there was still plenty of slack.)

    5/15/17
    Finally got the switchbacks installed!
Thanks @csjumper2003 for the awesome customer service.

    8/14/17
The time finally came to remove the OME 887s and install the Maxtrac spindles. I replaced the 887s with factory TRD offroad coils on the 5100s (0 setting).

Need another inch or two in the rear.

    6/22/2018

Finally got around to wrapping the rear bumper white. Some of you may rememeber i had previously dipped it, but it didn't look nearly as good. I had some leftover vinyl and decided to do the handles, only thing left is the mirrors!

I'm glad we decided to leave the rear lift off, the Carolina squat looks great! :cookiemonster:

It came out great I'm pretty jealous! If you don't mind me asking how did you paint your bumper? Did you sand and prime it before you hit it with plastidip?

That looks so good! Exactly the lift I plan on doing. Is the 1.5" AAL level or is it a little higher in the front? Looks pretty level in the pictures but I thought most people did 2" AALs with the 887s. Maybe that half inch doesn't matter too much lol

Thanks bud! I actually just cleaned it, taped it off and removed some of the black plastic pieces by the license plate, and sprayed away. Used about 2 cans and the most intricate part was pulling the tape. I was also surprised how well the white plastidip matched too. I may get a real white replacement one day, but its completely fine for now.

Thank you it looks sweet! I want to do it for now until I can afford to replace the bumper as well. Do you remember the exact plastidip you used? I think it looks great, I just can't stand the chrome haha

the actual PlastiDip only has one color white i believe, at least what you can buy at Lowes. I'm with ya, i couldn't get rid of the chrome quick enough.

Right now, its a little higher in the front, but not by much. After the coils settle (if any) it will be completely level or possibly a bit of rake. The AAL was actually off my buddies old leaf pack, so it had already settled.

Did you go with extended 5100's on the rear or do you not plan on off-roading? I am debating what I wanna do in the rear because I want a 2" progressive AAL and I need a longer shock which bilstein doesn't have an option for 2" lift.

Yup! I ordered the complete Bilstein kit from Headstrong Offroad. The 24-186728 Bilstein rear shock is good for 0-2.5" of rear lift i believe.

Be careful if you flex the rear of the truck, that's a standard length shock which is the same length as what came from the factory (at least it's the same as the factory bilsteins). I know they told you it would work but if you go offroad you could over extend and break a shock. I have been doing a ton of research on this and am leaning towards the nitro chargers in the rear which work for a lift.

hmm interesting that they would bundle this shock in a complete lift kit if it weren't alright - I don't think I'll flex it enough to extend and break anyway.

However, I'm pretty sure Bilstein (and Headstrong Offroad) has what you are referring to. See HERE
