    I would think it's pretty similar to the Taco unit. If they have the electronics figured out for the Tundra it shouldn't be too hard to make a Taco version.

    For $1,200 I'd certainly consider this if some reviews pan out to be good on it. Too bad it can't reuse the factory tailgate camera though.

    Many were saying that an extended warranty was essential because a replacement 14" display was $10K. 1. Clearly a 14" display doesn't cost that much. Toyota may have priced it that high to discourage post sale upgrades and due to limited parts availability. 2. In addition to salvage options, now there are new aftermarket options. I expect the price of new oem, used oem, and aftermarket displays to decrease over the next few years.

    Check out this guy....I am waiting for him to post the full write up but he went from 8 to 14" aftermarket head unit and added 360 cams. He even has them turn signal activated.

    It sounds impressive. I wonder if the aftermarket unit he installed will have good power and a DSP?
