I'm not sure what's wrong with mine, I thought I lined mine up exactly, I must've attempted his picture 10 times, just couldn't get it right

My only snags are lack of backup camera, FM antenna, and that bit of static in the speakers. Did the FM or camera require a special connector or did I just miss something? Cheers!

I didn't have the back up camera initially but figured out real quick I just had the plugs backwards. My camera was live in the AVIn app. Just swap the inputs and it'll be where you want it.

I also have a pair of heavy duty snips that go through plastic like butter. Made it pretty easy to cut that plastic to fit.

Sweet thanks for the tip. Could the FM be the same situation? Not a huge deal since I have the wireless Carplay working, but I'm headed in the mountains this weekend and my streaming could be interrupted. There are a few mountain stations that still work great.

Yeah if the wifi doesn't connect at just the right time after bluetooth you get errors. I've found that switching my phone to the carplay wifi right after I turn on the car has a near 100% success rate. The manual intervention sucks though. You may as well be wired.

There's 4 RCAs from the CANBUS harness, then There's another harness in one of the bags that all 4 of those RCAs connect to and go straight to the headunit to position D if you look at the diagram on the top of the radio. So connect each RCA to each other and then put the extra harness from the bag to the radio

I’m thinking the ground wire has something to do with the crappy reception. I can’t find a good spot to mount it

The xm wire is the only one I couldn’t find a place for which is taped to the radio antenna wire. Did you put the little antenna on the back of the radio too? Looks like a coax

That tiny antenna that screws into the back of the unit is the WiFi antenna

Glad you guys are getting your connections figured out
Taco_Coma your bezel trim job came out pretty damn good!

Just the GPS adapter from the OP link which is a tiny coax. Didn’t see one to screw in the unit for FM.

That’s what I figured it was for. And yes a jigsaw and a detail sander is your friend lol. The dremel was a little rough trying to control it. And felt like an unnatural motion. Your measurements helped, thank you
