I picked up the Daisata Canbus harness and can confirm the my car-solutions anytime front and rear camera works with the Canbus.

I did find out that if it is not powered up it block the steering wheel controls and backup camera from working.

The car solutions kit has a 2 pin harness that will not plug into anything. This harness will need to be spliced into power/ground as it used to get its power from the factory radio. At first I had it connected to the remote and ground wire but it was delayed to start. You want to connect it to the red acc power so as soon as your radio is on you can put it in reverse and use your camera.

Did the power wires go into the unit? You have the Nakita right? That's the only thing left for me to do.

Yup. The Nakita. There's two power wires for the camera (kind of). I extended the power/ground wires into the cab, connected both power wires together and ground to the 10mm bolt where everyone seems to be grounding the radio. The power wire for the camera goes to the FCAM POWER and the RCA goes to FCAM IN. Should work no problem.

Yeah I'm an idiot. That FCAM POWER label on the wire was hiding from me. Just spliced them together and it's working. Time to mount and run the wire.

No worries! I couldn't find the RCA for it at first!

Were you able to assign FCAM to a steering wheel key? I've got it up and running, but haven't assigned keys before.

Got it thanks. Would be nice to assign any random app to a key.

I was able to assign FCAM to the mode key, but then all my other keys stopped working. Apparently if you assign one custom key, you must re-assign them all.

Well that kind of sounds like a pain. Maybe I won't assign a hotkey for it. I don't have a different launcher yet, and it's right on the main screen, so maybe I'll leave it. It's kind of low on the importance list right now anyway. I'm trying to figure out how I want to get connectivity to the headunit.

finally got everything working again! One of the connectors got pushed down near the bottom of the center stack when I was messing with the fit for the brackets and I didn’t plug it back in. Man am I dumb.

Is the external mic as easy as connecting it on the backside of the unit during install & it’s working as the mic? Or do you have to select to use an external mic in the settings somewhere?

@crashdb Hey, Do you have the files to print the brackets? I'm tired of dealing with mine... everytime I pull the radio off I have to play with them to get them to align again >_<
