So are you guys downloading directly to the unit? Or to the SD card? Any write ups on the actual step to achieve this update?

you download the appropriate file from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...asaita-mcu-updates-rockchip-px5-octa-t3575155 and put it on a flash drive. Just the update zip file. plug in the flash drive, go to setting, hit update, should find the file, wait some time it'll restart twice i believe and bam done.

Did you get the car solutions to work with the Dasaita setup? I was going to read up on how to solve this exact setup. There is one connector on the HU that does not fit anything and the one connector for the video does not fit either so figure I will need to modify it to work which appears you have here. Ideally want to keep the factory camera and the car solutions setup.

I have the seicane unit and it works good. I only made the modification for the one 2pin plug that supplies power for the car solutions and drop the voltage for the camera on the head unit. other than that it works like it did with the entune.

Well damn I wonder if it’s not that easy on the Dasaita. I have one plug that doesn’t seem to fit anywhere from fit Dasaita and one plug that had the rear camera that’s needed for the car solutions kit that won’t. My guess is these 2 should go together but don’t.

Anyone get the rear camera plug or a fix to get it to plug in? I was really hoping to use the car solutions kit as it seemed it was all plug and play. I was going to get the Seicene unit but seemed like the Max6 Dasaita was a better unit so went that route.

I don't think that plug is for the rear camera. if you look those wires also connect to another plug. That looks like it is one of the plugs that makes it so it can connect to multiple vehicles.

    You need this plug
    image.jpg image.jpg
it also comes with the voltage converter. It’s called a rear camera retention harness.

Got it. I was just looking into that. not sure which one it would plug into. In my pictures one of the connectors (2 different ones just bad angle) is the camera from the OEM wires but no where to pug it into.

Makes sense here so this plugs into that and then connect to the HU Rear input RCA I assume.

Got a link to it? I just ordered the converter you mentioned but looks like not needed wit this one. I could not find a link. Found one on crutchfield but said it was not compatible.

Yah that’s what I need. This is the one I need to plug in along with the the car solutions setup.

    The one shown is https://www.seicane.com/toyota-backup-rearview-camera-adapter-sc71

I ordered this and the voltage converter.

I was not sure if I needed it or not, but my unit came with the plug already just not the voltage converter. So I ended up just using the voltage converter and not the plug because this one took a while to come in.

yeah that should work, then all you need is to give it power on the 2 pin plug that you will have left from the car solutions harness.
