I can barely hear a noise but that’s sitting in my truck without it running and no music. I doubt I’ll do that much though because he neighbors might call the cops... :spy:

Just a couple of comments that may help with the fitment issues that might help. My Tacoma is an 05 Access cab. I found that if if the dimples in factory brackets are drilled out with a small bit, the lower one can be used with one screw to install The Dasaita without any need to measure. It’s not perfect alignment but all four 10mm screws will go back and fasten secure. I made some clamps to hold the hazard module which worked pretty well.
I used one blank switch insert for the usb connect, used a pen knife cut the opening , and secured with a mini tye wrap. So far no problem with operation and love the Apple Car play.

Just wanted to share something simple. The top of the dash kit was catching the sun perfectly and destroying my eye holes. So I slapped on some matte black adhesive vinyl I had laying around. Did the trick! No more eye hole damage

20200831_171121.jpg (Don't mind the lint. The unit is a :censored: dust magnet)

Still can't fade to specific speaker sides but at least it doesn't turn off completely

Thanks for the fader tip! I've lost a lot of mid-range sound so I think I'm going to bypass my JBL system entirely and just run new speaker wires from each speaker to the HU. I want full control!!! :headbang: I still need to hook up my cameras so that's something to tackle this weekend. Installing a totally new 12v backup camera and I'm planning on simply running new wires instead of tapping into the existing ones and fiddling with the 12v to 6v scenario. I'm still scratching my head on how to hook up my front camera without the HU staying on and not being able to turn off...

I'm really getting a kick out of the features this HU offers. My 7 year old was having a blast watching cartoons on it while we waited for my wife to get her haircut the other day! The Agama is amazing. I love how it automatically switches between speedometer, clock, music etc. depending on if the vehicle is moving or not and when changing songs not to mention how you can customize the colors! I'm discovering that I prefer to use the hotspot connection more than Carplay o_O

I really don't think the delay and fader options do anything .. BUT switching it between Specialty and Common does something ..

    Stock so far. Audio first!
what kind of preout voltages are we working with? In whatever DSP settings it has, does it do time alignment? What about crossover points? does it have the ability to run active?

Overall, I'm liking mine. The major issues seem to revolve around getting the correct wire harness, connectivity to your phone/internet, and a slight buzzing when music is playing. I'm not an android person so my learning curve has been steeper than some. I haven't had mine long enough to pass judgement but so far, so good. Right now I need to figure out how to set up my iPhone with Agama! Tapping on the phone button does nada and I can't figure it out...

Going to get this cam set up in my lower grille. Where did everyone tap into for a power source? I was thinking about using the clock.

so, does this work as a replacement for a 2013 HU with JBL/entune/Nav?

I finally have the opportunity to work on installing mine today and am wondering if this worked for you. If not, what did you use?

I did! Worked out really well.

Tip: one of the rca harnesses has a yellow power wire ready for you to tap into.

    Heres how I did mine:

Hey guys! I'm going to to pull the trigger on this soon.

My factory Nav took a crap and I can no longer connect bluetooth or use aux functions...

After looking at many options, the Dasaita unit is going to be my choice. I've read through many of the posts on here already, but I'm wondering if anyone has purchased this recently. Do they have any updates or have they found new/easier solutions for some of the problems listed throughout?

Lastly, this listing https://www.ebay.com/itm/402371006700 has the unit with an ugly logo at the bottom. It may not bother some, but I can't stand it. Is it just for photo purposes or does it truely come one the product itself?

    Looking for some more information.

That would be annoying about the logo. Did you email them about it? If it's on the surface, you might be able to skim it off with a razor.
