Was that's white car trying to pass that truck as he turned left into the parking lot?

Same thing happened to @Brunes on here. Went to turn and a Chevy Silverado decided to try to pass him as he was turning. Some people are just ignorant and stupid.

This is why dash cams can be useful. Help police figure out what happened when assholes try to pull things like that.

I bought 2 of those, one for the wife. I put mine in the same spot as yours.

    Good cams.

In the 2nd vid, OP kinda, sorta broke the law turning into the left lane when the right one was available...would have avoided his collision too. I've gotten a BS ticket for turning wide like that and don't want it to happen to anyone else.

Actually, there was a blue Mini Cooper in the right hand lane, so it was not clear (unless I had cut him off). I know if you are already on the public thoroughfare, that making right hand turns requires you to "be as close as practical to the right side of the street before you begin a right turn. As well as, you are required to turn as close as practical to the right side of the street onto which you are turning. If there is more than one lane of traffic in your direction, this means you must remain in the right lane throughout your turn." However, I do not believe (and I could be totally wrong) that this applies to turning right, onto the public thoroughfare from private property or other type of non-public road. I'd love to know if there is any specific law that addresses this action though. I wasn't able to find anything addressing this in my short Google search (for AZ).

My ticket was for going into the middle lane on a one-lane left turn at a light ---____--- Bike cop obviously. I wouldn't be surprised if there were different laws for turning left and right, at lights and not at lights. Regardless, I feel your pain...so many old snowbirds drive like the roads are icy here too.

Had same issue with 805. It was due to resolution of recording. Full resolution (25xx) causes issues with default media players. changing resolution down to 1920 worked for me

No experience with that one but I did have a Cobra CDR820. Great quality picture but...

The cord started to catch fire one day, luckily we were in the truck at the time. Sent it back to Cobra and took them like two months for them to send a new cord. Bought a second one to use in the meantime, didn't work right out of the box, would cut off after a few minutes. They overheat easily and shut off. Our first one lasted for a few months but inevitably would overheat and shut off. Then it kept recording in one minute increments no matter how many times I changed the setting not to. Now it will not stay powered on. Seems a lot of people have the same issue with them dying after a few months.

I had a Cobra CB radio too that died after a few months. I'm moving away from Cobra now lol.

Not sure if that one has the same issues but it seems like Cobra quality has gone down.

Even your rear cam seems to have better video quality/higher bit rate than my front cam...might be time to retire this X300

Seen this old guy do this at least 3 times now and use the emergency lane to cut folks off at the end of the freeway entrance. Annoyingly enough, he doesn't even speed away once on the freeway. Just wants to be in front I guess.

Thanks Detective_Dan, I have 801s for me, the GF, and my Dad. They've worked real well, although mine (after 2.5 Phx summers) is starting to flake out a little. I'm looking to go to the 805s for Front/Rear in the near future. Too many negative reviews on the 806s. Your vids reaffirm for me that the 805 is the next logical choice for my needs out of dashcam.
