    If you try to zoom in on gas prices, you see blur even on those large digits. Good defense lawyers will destroy your manipulation of the license plate, police will simply hand back to manipulated image and say "Thank you for the effort, but we have this".

    Dashcams have crash sensors, GoPro does not. Dashcams have "parking lot mode" to detect jarring when car is off and save power otherwise, GoPro does not. GoPro is an action camera you need to change the mode of, dashcams are always-on sentinels with extra automatic detection modes.

    NextBase 522 is $250. Not to say the Garmin IS DEFINITELY bad now, though the features about 4 years back were not to my liking. Any dedicated dashcam is better than an action camera, my opinion.
