@djembefola did you get this sorted out? I'm looking at buying a Garmin DashCam 56 and mounting it to the GoPro mount in my 2017 Limited.

I'd suggest searching for the mount on shapeways.com. I got one for my Rexing dashcam that works perfectly on the go pro mount.

I did look there prior to posting here. But I only see 3 mounting adapters.. two for Rexing and one for some other dashcam, but not Garmin. Maybe I'm missing something?

I may have been mistaken. Although I have ordered from shapeways.com before, for the Rexing V1LG gopro mount, I did a google search for it and was pointed to a site that had the mount print file. I was then pointed to printing sites (I used printathing.com), where I had to paste in the print file that the original site provided. I'm sorry but I can't remember the original site. Maybe someone here does.

Also, they gave me options that I knew nothing about, such as the material they printed it out of. Somehow I ended up ordering 2 mounts, both white, which I painted black. Anyway, on one of the printed mounts, one of the squeezable legs broke.

One other thing, it's kind of ala carte in that they charge for every little thing but they both only cost about $15 shipped. So I have a broken spare and one holding my dashcam to the gopro mount.

Good luck. Or be like me and aspire to eventually get a Thinkware or Blackvue.

Edit: I believe you'd only need the 3D print file so that's what you might want to look for. I'd start with thingverse.com. Then you'd send that file to printathing.com.
