ITS FINALLY HERE!!! AHHHHH!!! blackvue dr900s-2ch review. Its super long, so if you want to skip to certain parts you can look in the youtube description for links to certain sections of the long review. Don't forget if you are in the market blackboxmycar gives $30 off orders over $300 (this cam starts at $480) with coupon code "USDASH30" check the youtube description.

I also recently reviewed the blackvue power magic ultra, the top of the line battery option for blackvue parking mode.

blackvue offers a 2 channel truck model with a water proof rear camera you would install on the outside. https://www.blackboxmycar.com/colle.../blackvue-dr750s-2ch-truck?variant=1942694529

    It's not cheap though.

I am testing another camera that replaces your standard rear view mirror with a new mirror with a built in camera, and it has a rear water proof camera. but its also over $300 and the rear camera leaves a lot to be desired. review for that will be up sometime next week probably.

Reviewed the auto-vox x1 pro, which is a front and rear dash camera that replaces your existing rearview mirror and the rear camera acts as a back up camera. Unique, but has cons along with the pros. check it out:

The local shop wants $300 for an install. I think I’ll do it myself.

As of today, do you recommend the Thinkware f800 pro or something else in that same price range?

F800 pro or dr750s-2ch are both great high end options. Dr900s-2ch is even better if you can afford it but it's very expensive.

Blackboxmycar gives my viewers $30 off orders over $300 with coupon code USDASH30 tho which makes it a little less painful lol.

For the record, if you are looking to do a Fuse tap with a Blackvue. 3rd Gens use the "Low Profile" Mini Fuses.

Yea but you can use mini fuses, they fit still. I prefer to buy regular mini fuses because they are so much easier to work with.

I like the hero 5 cam. The dash mount so far works like a charm. And it's up and out of the way.

Have they added a auto start record option yet or do you have to manually turn it on and off each time?

Got my top 10 for holiday 2018, and also giving away a Viofo A129 with parking mode hardwire kit, bluetooth remote, and 32 gb card. The video is super long but for contest rules watch the first few minutes. Open only to people in the continental US.

I installed a Thinkware F800 Pro in my 2016 Taco last weekend and it works great. Used the hardwire kit and low profile "add-a-fuse" for an easy install. Hardest part was running the wire. Just make sure you install the camera in a spot far enough to the right (or below) the black window tinting by where the rearview mirror attaches. I put mine a bit too close and I can see a bit of black on the left hand side of my recordings.

What kind of camera is this. Would you recommend it? If not what would you recommend? I’m not to handy with wiring stuff up simple plug and play would be nice as well as nothing that’s going to be devastating to the wallet. Also are rear facing cameras needed or parking mode?
