Anyone run the VanTrue N4 dash cam? What are your experiences with it.

I had the n2 before and that melted under the las vegas sun during the summer season. The technology on vantrue was great the quality of the product is just average since its plastic. I just don't think no dash cam can withstand a constant beating by the sun. IMO the dash cam that either attaches to the rear view mirror or replaces it is the best one. Its out of the sunlight and you can easily place a sunshade. I think that car companies will soon integrate that backup camera function to the rear view mirror.

The N4 is rated to 158 degrees. Probably not enough for LV, but here is VA it should be ok.
