I could have SWORN there was a Dash Cam thread on here but after some searching, I got NADA. I know I've even posted on it but still nothing. Mods feel free to thread merge if I'm duping here.

So I did a little research and found that Rexing was probably the best camera in my price range, space constraints. I had a basic V1 in my last truck and let it go with the vehicle. It was a few years old and that's a lot of "in your face" Arizona sun to take so I figured why not upgrade.

Since my last V1 did well, I upgraded to a V1Pro+ with the rear facing cam (back glass) and the speed GPS.

Got the new cam and installed it. Ran it from the Cig Lighter for a few weeks until the Dongar came in. Then ran it off the Dongar for a few months. Then it started spontaneously rebooting all the time every 30 seconds. I pulled it off and hooked it up inside the house on a variety of USB cables and power supplies and it did it on all of them.

Contacted the manufacturer, they asked for an absurd amount of evidence, which I provided, and then replaced it with a totally new unit.

Hooked it up and was able to go through the menus and configure it (date time lic plate, frame rate, etc) and it worked fine. No rebooting. So I mounted it to the windshield and BAM right off the bat it immediately started power cycling and rebooting every 30 seconds.

Anyone making a decent 60FPS Front and Rear Cam in the $250 range? Wondering if I'm done with Rexing.
