I am going to be installing my Sirius receiver tomorrow in my '09 taco. I just received the adapter and cable to use the existing factory antenna. I haven't tried removing any panels yet or anything, I thought I would just ask first. The drivers side lower kick panel that I need to take off to hook up the antenna cable to the port...how does it come off? Does it just pop off?

I am also going to be wiring into the cig/aux for power. How do I get the panel off that those are mounted in to get to the power and ground wires behind the panel?

Any help would be appreciated to make everything go smoothly.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
pop up the black foot rest, pop up the door jam trim, remove the black screw on cap thats under the foot rest, then the panel will come right out

I think I will just tap into fuse box instead of taking all that stuff apart

I tried tapping into the cig lines when doing my GPS. It involves taking apart most of the dash, but I managed to take apart the bare minimum.
