Is the dash light dimmer supposed to illuminate? I have a 2010 tacoma and am a little shaky on what is and isn't supposed to light up.

Unfortunately, no, it doesn't light up.

Thanks. That's the only disappointing thing about my new to me tacoma. The engineers were asleep at the wheel on interior backlighting. Either that or just cheap.

Yeah it's one thing I really don't like or understand - that the dash lights only work with the dimmer rather than turning on/off with the headlights like every other car in the world.
