    Same here, I'm wondering how he got the blue color behind the "x1000", "mph", and fuel tank and engine temp gauges, but left the lines white? Blue plastic behind that portion of the overlay? Finger nail paint I don't think would let enough light penentrate through...

    I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09XB7TT3S?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 and they worked out great. I should have bought a few more blues, ended up using more white LEDS, but still very happy. In total for me, it was a 4-5 hour job, it had been a few years since I've soldered something, so I took my time. I also took the time to clean the interior of the truck too before re-installing some of the interior. Also, for the parts that say x1000 (RPM gauge), MPH, and other things blue (H,C, F, and E that are on the other two gauges), I just used a blue highlighter and highlighted the back of the overlay and had white LED's behind them. I have a feeling that's what the OP did as well in that example I posted, he never clarified how he did that.
