I was trying to think about a way to mount the teq off-road MAM and was thinking about using 2 rivnuts on each side instead of drilling in with their included self tappers. Would love to hear other thoughts on it!

I went with a RAM mount to hold my phone/GMRS hand set and drilled through the dash near the head unit. Removed the head unit and tightened it all up with through bolts. No issues after the last 12 months and remains solid on the trails. So long as you've got some nice sized washers on either end it should be ok!

Did you end up mounting the TEQ MAM? I’m looking at it pretty seriously. It’s on sale at the moment. . .
