    Where is it? Over the weekend everything got dim in the broad daylight of San Bernardino, and I couldn't see the map. I had not driven the roads that I was initially sent on to go home. Then it magically popped back to full lighting, then even passing under a bridge would change (I was already clear of the bridge when it went dark)

    I asked my wife about that hair-scrunchy she left on the dash while we were driving. This morning, when I went around a curve (at well above the posted limit) the scrunchy went rolling across. I haven't had an issue today . . .

    Here's a thread I saved a while back that might be of interest, the OP there did some mods to adjust the dimming behavior on the lights to suit his needs better if you notice anything further you want to tweak further (errant hair scrunchies on the dash notwithstanding, I mean):

    haha, I have read more than one thread around here with it being covered.

    Not being a smartass,, but DL'ing the manual to a large searchable PDF is very handy.
