So my truck isn't even a year old and just found two different spot on the dash where the black has peeled up! I guess I'll be heading to the dealership next week. Has anyone else had this happen so soon?

I'll grab some pics later on, I'm not near my truck right now. Only things I've used is Armor all to clean it with.

The only reason I ask for pics is both my last Tacoma (5 years) and current Tacoma (1 year) have spent their entire lives in the desert sun with no window shade (until recently). I never had an issue that I noticed and am curious what parts are peeling so that I can more closely inspect mine.

It'll be couple hours before I can get pics but there is a small white spot where there use to be black above the cluster on the dash and then another small spot a few inches away from it. The spots are a little smaller than my pinky nail.

This is just a little spot right on the cluster and the other spot is up more to the left by the pillar

Yeah. The other thread said that the dealer could either "fix" it or get a new dash. I dont see how they can "fix" it and it not be noticable, so if I can I'm going to opt for a new dash.

This stuff dries out vinyl something terrible. I won't touch it anymore. It had a similar effect on some surfaces in my 6th gen civic - the color layer would just start to come off a few months after I started to use it.
